The Marion Rural Fire Department located in Marion, Montana is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to reducing the loss of life and property through fire and emergency medical response, prevention, and education and code management to the citizens of Marion and the surrounding rural area.
The department operates from two stations located at 180 Gopher Lane and 11620 Highway 2 West. The department operates with 2 engines, 3 water tenders, 1 4x4 wild land engine, 1 utility rescue and transport ambulance. This emergency service is provided with 22 volunteers.
Marion Rural Fire Department are your neighbors, men and women who live in the community. Marion Rural Fire Department are professionals who perform these services for reasons that go far beyond money. These people have chosen to serve their community as firefighters and medical responders. They are supported by their families, by the Auxiliary, and by other community members. Department training is held on the first and third Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. You can develop technical skills in the use of complicated fire fighting and rescue equipment, as well as life-saving techniques. It is an opportunity to gain valuable work experience and provide a valuable community service through the protection of lives, property and the environment.
